Before we were cleaners, we were healthcare workers. We spent our days in environments where hygiene wasn’t optional. A missed spot, a skipped step, or an unreliable contractor wasn’t just inconvenient. It was a real problem. That standard stuck with us.
When we moved into the commercial world, we noticed something that didn’t sit right: a lot of offices, facilities and commercial spaces were being let down by their cleaners. Jobs done half-heartedly. Different people turning up each week with no consistency. Nobody answering when something was missed. For businesses that rely on their space looking and feeling right, for staff, for clients, for the people who walk through the door every day, “good enough” cleaning was quietly becoming the norm.
We didn’t think it had to be that way.
So we started Melb Cleaning & Services to do it properly, bringing the same standards we held in healthcare into commercial cleaning. That means site checklists instead of guesswork, the same quality every visit instead of a lottery depending on who shows up, and direct communication with the people who actually run the business, not a call centre.
We built our systems around one simple idea: a client should never have to chase us to get the standard they were promised. Reliability isn’t a slogan for us. It’s the whole reason this business exists.
